Wichita Falls ISD students will soon have another option for food.
This morning was the first chance the for people to get a taste of what they will be offering. The food truck had free samples of jalapeno cheeseburger sliders, roasted vegetables, and a few other options. This food truck is a chance to bring different and fresh food to the students.
“give the kids the best that’s out there. That’s what we are about,” Farai Sithole, district manager Chartwells. “let’s look at opportunities to work with local farmers. Sustainability. Fresh from the farm. Work with our local farms and get it in while it's still fresh at the peak of the nutrient density. That’s what it is all about.”
They already have two more events scheduled with the schools in the area and are hoping for even more in the near future
